Chitrakoot: A case of murder has been reported from Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh, where the body of a young woman was recovered from a farm in Mau police station area on Thursday night. According to the police, the woman was strangled to death. The family says that the woman was raped before the murder. It is being told that the girl was married two years ago, but due to differences with her in-laws, she was staying in the maiden.

While giving information about the case, Inspector (SHO) Gulab Tripathi, in charge of Mau police station, said that the dead body of a 24-year-old girl was recovered from a farm in Kaptiha Kala village of police station area at around 9 pm on Thursday, some distance away from the settlement. has occurred. He has said that it seems prima facie that he has been murdered by strangulation. Relatives have expressed the possibility of rape with the woman before the murder.

Referring to the girl's family, the SHO has told that the girl went to the farm on Thursday evening for defecation. When she did not return home for a long time, the family searched for her and informed the police when the body was found in the field. After which the police reached the spot and made the inspection. Tripathi has told that the girl was married in Prayagraj two years ago, but due to differences with her in-laws, she was living in the maiden for the last five-six months. Police is currently investigating the matter.
