Lucknow: The power of the SP office has now been cut off after the Yogi government bulldozers were fired at the illegal petrol pump of Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Shazil Islam in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The electricity department said that the electricity bill of the SP office was not paid for the last five years. Due to this, this action had to be taken. Let us know that the SP office owes an electricity bill of Rs 1.15 lakh. 

SDO Gaurav Sharma said that SP leaders were called several times to deposit the bill, but they did not deposit the bill. After which the power connection of the SP office was disconnected. He said that the SP office has a connection in the name of Veer Pal Singh Yadav. He has been a corporator in the SP. The same former Rajya Sabha member, Veer Pal Singh Yadav is now the national general secretary of the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party.

Let me tell you that these days the heat is increasing. In such a situation, this campaign is being run against the power department defaulters in Uttar Pradesh. There is a provision to disconnect the connection in case of more than 10,000 dues in the UPCL,  under which the electricity department took action on the Bareilly office of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
