Gorakhpur:  In Gorakhpur, the governing committee of the CM's priority water sports complex, built on the banks of Ramgarhtal, is engaged in earning money by organizing weddings. After the tender was issued to the Nishad Yachting Development Committee, the work order was also issued in December 2021, but till now the contract has not been signed with the tourism department.

Without a contract, the committee is not only engaged in running the complex but also got to hear the news of booking of weddings. The tourism department itself is not informed. Regional tourism officer Ravindra Mishra says that marriage or any other auspicious program cannot be held in the water sports complex. It is made for players. If so, then it is wrong. The matter is about to be processed. Some reports say that the committee that runs the water sports complex has organized three weddings so far. The bookings for these events were done at hefty rates. On the night of last Wednesday (June 8), a grand wedding party was started in the water sports complex premises.

The secretary of Nishad Naukri Vikas Samiti also shared the video and picture of this marriage ceremony on social media. Also wrote that under the aegis of Nishad Naukri Vikas Samiti, the marriage ceremony was held at Water Sports Complex, Gorakhpur. Please tell that the committee is keeping the money with itself, Principal Secretary Tourism Mukesh Meshram has said that organizing a marriage in the Water Sports Complex is shocking. I am going to know about it. The contract of the Steering Committee will now be done. Appointed on the post of MD.
