Lucknow: Making statements against Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath seem to be taking a heavy toll on Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA Shazil Islam Ansari. The licence of his pump has also been cancelled after its demolition. Not only this but all the No Objection Certificates (NOCs) taken to open petrol pumps have also been cancelled.
In fact, SP MLA from Bhojipura seat in Bareilly, Shazil Islam, had recently made a statement against CM Yogi. In a public meeting, Shazil had taken CM Yogi's name and said that if any abusive words were spoken to him in the House, then there would be no smoke from his gun, but only bullets. After this, Shazil's statement appears as it wreaked havoc on him, broke down and many of his illegal constructions were bulldozed. An FIR was also lodged against the SP MLA.
Officials of the Bareilly Development Authority justified the action taken against the SP MLA, saying the petrol pump was built without passing the map. The additional district magistrate has also ordered an inquiry into the ownership of the land on which the petrol pump was built.
