Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has reduced the price fixed for the coronavirus test. The price of test was Rs 1,500 but now after new order people will be able to get their test done for just Rs 600. Additional Chief Secretary (Medical Education) of the Yogi Government has also issued an order in this regard. People can get their corona test done by paying just 600 rupees in medical college and government hospitals. Cancer and kidney patients will be able to get corona test done for just Rs 300.

The test of patients of Thalassemia and Haemophilia will be done free of cost in the state. Rajneesh Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary (Medical Education), UP Government has also issued orders in this regard. Talking about the situation of corona in the state, the number of active cases of corona in UP continues to decline. The number of active cases in the second week of September has reduced to 24,858.

According to the statistics of the Department of Medicine and Health, 1979 new cases of corona infection have been registered in the last 24 hours. 2465 patients have been cured and discharged after treatment in a single day.
