Kanpur: In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, there was a friendship between a girl and a boy first on Facebook, then slowly the relationship between the two started growing. After this, the boy did something which landed him and his friend in jail. A girl who came to Kanpur to prepare for the competitive examination, became friends with Shubham Gupta, an auto parts businessman from Kalyanpur on Facebook.

After this, the boy took girl to Gangabaraj and made her objectionable video. He then started demanding money from the girl, threatening to upload the video on social media. First, the boy demanded 1 lakh rupees, when the girl gave 1 lakh rupees, the boy again demanded 5 lakh rupees.

Troubled by the boy's threat, the girl told the entire story to her elder sister. The victim's elder sister lives in a locality in Gwalatoli area in Pratapgarh, she is a teacher by profession. He along with his younger sister reached the police station and registered a case against the boy and his friend. After registering the case, the police have arrested both the accused boy and his friend.
