Major road accident in Kanpur, dumper collides with auto

Lucknow: A major road accident has been reported in the Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. In Naubasta, a ballast-laden dumper hit the auto from behind. Five passengers, including an auto driver, were trapped in the incident that took place around 10 am on Thursday. The police, who reached after the information, rescued the injured with the help of local people and took them to Hallett Hospital. Where the condition of all is said to be critical.

On Thursday, Mannu, Nandi, and Mahajan, all residents of Machharia, along with two other people were riding in an auto near Naubasta Machharia square. All were going from Hamirpur to Naubasta. The dumper hit the auto from behind. In this collision, the auto was blown away. The passengers, including the driver, got stuck in the auto. Police reached the spot and rescued the injured. All the injured were sent to Hallett Hospital for treatment. Police have detained the dumper driver Pankaj and launched an investigation.  

At the same time, the police have also informed the acquaintances of those injured in the accident and they are reaching the hospital. Higher officials are also reaching the hospital and taking information about the treatment of the injured.
