Lucknow: The PGI police station area of Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow has created a stir after the body of a woman was found. When the police investigated, it was found that the body belonged to woman constable Ruchi Singh. After this, the police swung into action and said that the case is of a love affair. The woman constable had befriended the Naib Tehsildar through Facebook. Police are engaged in solving the mystery in this case by adding links.

According to information, the woman constable had not been on duty since February 13. After this, the woman constable's accomplices tried to contact her, but Ruchi Singh's phone was constantly being switched off. The friends then filed a case. The body of the woman constable was recovered from the drain of the Kali Mata area. This was reported to The Sushant Golf Police Station by the police of the PGI police station in Lucknow. After this, the companions working with constable Ruchi Singh reached the spot and identified the body and the police also informed the family members of the woman constable in Bijnor. 

According to the police, the case is of a love affair. The female cop was interested in getting married. She was married to a constable. She was currently posted in Kushinagar. According to the information, the Naib Tehsildar posted at Raniganj in Pratapgarh had become friends with Ruchi through Facebook. After that, the conversation escalated. The two have been in a relationship for the last five years. It is also being told that the Naib Tehsildar is also married, but the woman constable was pressurizing him to get married. 
 
At present, the police are taking the accused Naib Tehsildar into custody and interrogating him. According to information, there is a possibility of murder. However, the Lucknow police said it would soon solve the mystery as to why the woman was murdered.
