Lucknow: A shocking case of love jihad has come to light in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. Here a person named Jamal Khan trapped a Hindu girl in love by hiding his identity and then converted her to a Muslim and married her. A few days later, Jamal Khan threw the victim out of the house by giving triple talaq.
According to the victim woman, Jamal Khan started talking to her by posing as Sonu. After Nikah, when she came to know that Jamal was already married, she protested, after which Jamal started assaulting her. On the complaint of the woman, the Majhola police have started investigation by registering an FIR. The victim is a resident of Khushalpur in Majhola. The woman told that Jamal Khan had befriended her by calling himself a Hindu. After this he started talking on the phone and trapped the victim in the trap of love. Meanwhile, one day Jamal proposed for marriage to the woman, to which she agreed.
The woman alleges that at the last moment, Jamal revealed his reality and started pressuring her to convert. The woman told that she left Hinduism and became a Muslim following Jamal's words and married Jamal. After marriage, Jamal started torturing her for dowry. The woman, who converted to Islam after leaving Hinduism for Jamal, alleged that during this time a daughter was born to her. After this, Jamal started demanding five lakh rupees and a car from her. Meanwhile, she came to know that Jamal Khan is already married. He is already married 18 years ago and has two children.
The victim says that when she protested, Jamal beat her up. On 24 April 2023, Jamal came home drunk and started fighting with her and then threw her out of the house after giving triple talaq. After this the woman has given a complaint in Majhola police station. The in-charge of Majhola police station says that based on the complaint of the woman, an FIR has been registered against the accused Jamal Khan for dowry harassment, rape, assault and triple talaq under the Prohibition of Religion Act. Further action will be taken on the basis of evidence.
