Meerut: Some people have shot and killed lawyer Mukesh Sharma due to mutual enmity in the medical area of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Senior Superintendent of Police Ajay Sahni gave information about this on Saturday. He told that Mr. Sharma, who lives in Kamalpur, was walking outside the house after 9 o'clock on Friday night. Meanwhile Nasser, Nausad, Ziaul Haq along with their comrades shot Vakil Sharma.

Subsequently, Sharma was rushed to the hospital in a critical condition, where he died. Shri Sharma was also a member of the Meerut Bar Association and an officer of the Brahmin Sabha. Ajay Sahni has told that some people of the village had occupied government land. Due to the rivalry of the same land, this incident happened. The assailants shot him in the head near the elementary school, about 400 meters from the house. After the incident, there was a sensation in the village and a crowd of villagers gathered. A large number of lawyers also reached the hospital when the doctors at Anand Hospital declared him dead.

DM Anil Dhingra, SSP Ajay Sahni arrived with a large number of police force after receiving information about the incident. During this time, the lawyers told the SSP that the law and order in the district was ruined. The senior advocate had complained to the land mafia to the Principal Secretary, DGP, DM and SSP. Even after that, advocate Mukesh Sharma was not given protection. At the same time, the police has assured action.
