Washington: American company Johnson & Johnson is once again in the headlines for its product. The baby powder of the company has been reported to contain asbestos ie cancer factor, after which the company has recalled about 33 thousand baby powders from the market. Asbestos is a deadly carcinogen, which increases the risk of developing cancer in humans. The company says that this is the first time Johnson & Johnson's baby powder has been recalled from the market.

After this move, the 130-year-old company Johnson & Johnson suffered a major setback. After such factors were found in baby powder, the company has again raised a question mark. Johnson & Johnson Company manufactures a variety of products including baby powder, antipsychotic risperdal opioids, medical devices, and more. This is not the first time that a product of Johnson & Johnson Company has been found to contain carcinogenic elements.

Earlier, the company's baby shampoos were banned in UP. This step was taken after the chemical element formaldehyde was found in the shampoo. At the same time, the National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR) had issued a directive to remove this company's product from the market with immediate effect. The report of Rajasthan Drug Control found carcinogenic elements in baby shampoo, which could cause cancer. Taking this report into consideration, the NCPCR took this decision.
