Lucknow: Minister of State for Urban Development Mahesh Chandra Gupta in UP's Yogi Adityanath government has announced that he will not consume food unless the corona epidemic in the country ends. He claims that he had given up food water five years ago to eradicate terrorism. Now corona has also joined his pledge. According to the Minister of State, he has taken this pledge after being hurt by corona deaths in the country.

Mahesh Chandra Gupta has said that When you pray for others hungry and thirsty, God is kind to you. They have given up food water from 26th April and they will not consume food water till the corona epidemic is over. Mahesh Chandra Gupta points out that in 2008, when terrorist incidents were on the rise in the country, the jawans of the country were being martyred day in and day out, they decided to give up food after being disturbed by these incidents. Gupta, as a result of this today, terrorism has been ended in the country.

In his fight against Corona, Mahesh Chandra Gupta described PM Modi as the hero of the world and said that today the whole world is proud of PM Modi's style of functioning. He revived many countries. Praising CM Yogi, Mahesh Chandra said that in the second wave he did a tremendous job, he toured the entire state irrespective of his life, after which the situation in Corona was controlled, though Yogi Adityanath himself was caught by the Corona.
