Mirzapur: A few days ago, it was reported that an old man is sitting outside the district collectorate holding the board of 'Sir I am alive, sir I am a man, not a ghost'. He has been able to prove himself alive for the past 15 years. As soon as the case came to notice, Chief Minister Yogi himself had taken cognizance and instructed the officials to take immediate action. Following the CM directive, the district magistrate of Mirzapur conducted an inquiry into the matter. The increase in the investigation was taken to Amei village at the address mentioned by him. But the relatives he was talking about could not identify them.

According to the information, the man who describes himself as gullible has been identified as Shyam Narayan. Now the administration is going to conduct a DNA test of Shyam Narayan to clarify the facts. The elderly had said that he had been struggling to prove himself alive for the past 15 years. He said that the revenue inspector and the author, who consisted of family people for the land, have declared him dead in Khatauni. The document has been named after the family by showing him dead. With banners to give evidence of self-living in front of the DM office, the elderly were once again sitting in the hope of justice and asking the administration for justice.

The case is of 56-year-old Gulam Singh, who lives in Amei village of Sadar tehsil. He sat in front of the district magistrate's office with a banner of his own survival in his hands. The district administration has been agitated after the matter came up in the media. The elderly Gulam Singh says that he has been named as the revenue inspector and the author as dead and his share of land brother Raj Narayan. No action is being taken even after repeated administration of governance.
