Lucknow: Police have arrested cow smuggler Irshad alias Sonu in an encounter in Loni, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Seeing the police, he first tried to escape, then opened fire on the police. Later, the police also opened fire, which hit the smuggler's leg. After being arrested, Irshad started saying in front of the police that 'cow is our mother'. Its video is also becoming increasingly viral on social media.
In fact, during the search on Chirori Road, the police stopped a bike rider and tried to escape. In retaliation to the police, the miscreant was shot in the leg, then he fell on the ground. The police then came to know that it was wanted cow smuggler Irshad alias Sonu. A video of Irshad, who was arrested after the encounter, has surfaced. According to the police, the accused has more than six cases registered against him. A pistol, cartridges and a bike have been recovered from him. The accused is a resident of Sikka Idrishpur village under the Baraut police station area in the Baghpat district. Six cases have been registered against him in Sahibabad and Loni police stations. Important information is being collected by interrogating the accused.
