Azamgarh: Property worth Rs 1 crore, 44 lakh, 84 thousand obtained by IS 191 Inter State Gang leader Mukhtar Ansari would be attached in Lucknow as part of a huge operation started by police in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. Yes, according to recent information, an unlawful property of 194 square metres is now worth over three crores. The property is reported to be seized under Section 14A of the Gangster Act.


The mafia, on the other hand, gained property through unlawful gains on Lucknow's Hussainganj Assembly Road. The mafia registered crores of acres of land at exorbitant prices in 2007. At the same time, a case was registered against mafia mukhtar Ansari at Tarwan police station in Azamgarh district in 2014 in the district. 11 persons including Mukhtar were prosecuted under the Gangster Act. Superintendent of Police Anurag Arya has informed about the matter. He said azamgarh police and investigators are being sent to attach Mukhtar's property. At the same time, in future, there will be a continuous drive against the 14A Gangster Act against the criminals and the property will continue to be confiscated. It is being said that the deliberations have revealed that, "There are many assets which have been acquired from crime.'
