Agra: A shocking case has come to light from Agra in UP, the country's largest state. Here the police took possession of a body from the burning pyre. Police, who arrived at Balkeshwar Ghat in Agra on Tuesday morning following the cremation, poured water on the burning body and took possession of the body of the drug dealer. In fact, the businessman had reportedly been happy that more than 50 lakh rupees had sunk in the market. The alleged suicide note of the viral drug dealer on social media details the arrears.

Kamalanagar police station inspector Narendra Kumar Sharma said that at around 7 am on Tuesday, police received a letter that drug dealer Ravikant Gupta had died in a suspicious condition and family members were cremating him. He said, the police, who reached Balkeshwar crematorium on Tahrir, fished out the body of the businessman from the pyre and took him into custody. However, the family members have denied any police action.

According to the same local media reports, the deceased Ravikant, who had earlier lived in Rajkot in Gujarat, had returned to Agra a year and a half ago, and the business was not succeeding well due to corona. He left home in the afternoon on Monday but did not return till the evening after which his wife Chanchal called him. The phone was picked up by a passerby and said that the one whose mobile is lying unconscious at Balkeshwar Ghat and foaming from his mouth.
