Lucknow: President Ram Nath Kovind is currently on a visit to UP. The President is now scheduled to visit Ayodhya today in the same vein. As per the information received, extensive security arrangements have been made in the district during the arrival of the President. Security agencies have been deployed here not only on roads, by rail but also on the celestial route. Security arrangements were finalized by the administrative authorities ahead of the President's arrival last Saturday. The President will now reach Ayodhya by presidential train from Lucknow today. The police are on high alert over the security arrangements here.

However, security arrangements can also be gauged from the fact that Additional Director General of Police Suraksha VK Singh, Additional Director General of Police Lucknow Zone SN Sabat, Inspector General of Police, Range, Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, and SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey are themselves monitoring all the arrangements. Let me tell all of you that the armed police force has been deployed on the roofs of major buildings on the way and not only in the houses around the railway line for the protection of the President. According to reports, the jawans will be on duty here on a fast till the president's return and police patrolling will continue on the track. In addition, there is a ban on the commuting of anti-social persons at the crossing.

Temporary barriers have been constructed there. At the same time, necessary restrictions have been imposed at many places for traffic arrangements. Traffic has been diverted on several routes and several arrangements and systems including railway stations Ayodhya Junction, Karked, Ramkatha Park Ayodhya, Rahi Yatri Niwas, Hanumangarhi Temple, Sriramjanmabhoomi Temple, Construction Site, Railway Track, Railway Station, Railway Crossing, Flyover, Pulia are being monitored zone-wise. In addition, the force has been deployed at more than 24 locations including Helipad Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat, Circuit House, Shriram Hospital, District Hospital, Shriram Hospital, Birla Dharamshala, Irrigation Postal Bungalow, Station Superintendent Room, and Airstrip.
