Sonbhadra: The issue of giving birth to a child on the platform of a woman has come to light at Chopan railway station in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. The most surprising thing is that the woman gave birth to a child in the presence of a doctor and nurse at the railway station. Saroj, who gave birth to the child, has told the media that she was traveling from Allahabad to Jharkhand Garhwa Triveni Express.

During this time there was no medical facility at the station, due to which the local women covered the sheet and made the delivery on the platform. Railway official CP Singh told the media that after receiving information about the delivery of the woman, a nurse was called from the railway hospital on the spot. However, the child was born with the help of local women on the platform itself.
