E-challan system implemented in Dehradun, CM Trivendra Singh launches

Dehradun: E-challan system has been implemented in 13 districts of Uttarakhand and Rajdhani from 29 February 2020 i.e. from today on Saturday. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has launched it in the police line. It is also being said that along with this, 11 interceptors and eight cranes of the traffic police were also cleared.

The Traffic Directorate has been preparing to implement the e-challan system in the state for several months. In collaboration with the bank, 1200 machines of modern technology have been made available to the directorate, which has the facility to pay penalty on the spot with debit cards. In Dehradun and Udham Singh Nagar districts, e-challan machines have been in use for many months, but there is no provision for payment through debit cards.

Khurana told that the traffic policemen of each district have given training to it. He said that Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has launched the e-challan machine system in the police line today. Meanwhile, apart from the traffic police app, four videos and four audio have also been launched. The Traffic Directorate has purchased 11 new interceptors and 11 cranes. Today, they will be handed over to the respective districts.
