Dehradun: BJP has completed preparations for the two-phase Vijay Sankalp Yatra for the 2022 elections. National President Jagat Prakash Nadda will begin his visit to Garhwal Mandal from the pilgrimage city of Haridwar on Saturday while Union Minister Anurag Thakur will begin the Vijay Sankalp Yatra of Kumaon Mandal from Bageshwar on December 19. With this visit, BJP will seek blessings from the people on the work of the double engine government. Sankalp Yatra will cover a distance of 4500 km across the state.

Addressing a press conference at a hotel in Rispana Bridge on Friday, BJP President Madan Kaushik said that Vijay Sankalp Yatra will be taken out across the state from December 18 to January 5, 2022. Through this visit, the party will take account of the development works undertaken through the Double Engine Government at the Centre and in the State. The Central Government has sanctioned schemes worth more than Rs.

The State Government has done a number of works including employment, education, health, women empowerment, reverse migration, the summer capital of Gairsan, Military Dham. The 4500 km Vijay Sankalp Yatra will take place across the state. It will cover a distance of 2660 km in the Garhwal Division and 1890 km in the Kumaon Division. The party has scheduled the functions keeping in view the code of conduct in 2017. This will tell the people the successes of the double engine government. He said he will also take up the failure of the previous Congress governments in the people's court. The congress' deeds will be exposed. The visit will be attended by several senior Union Ministers including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, ministers of the state government and senior leaders of the organisation.
