Lucknow: The Income Tax Department raided the house of Samajwadi Party leader and party general secretary and spokesperson Rajiv Rai in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh this morning. His house has been raided for two hours. A large number of forces have reportedly been deployed along with income tax department officials so that no one can enter or go out. On the other hand, SP workers created a ruckus following the news of the income tax department raid on Rajiv Rai's house and a large number of police are deployed in view of the uproar.

Let us tell you that politics is set to begin over the income tax department raid on the SP leader's house just before the assembly elections in the state. The SP has earlier alleged that the Central Government is misusing IT, ED and CBI to put pressure on opposition parties.
