15 lakh golden cards will be made for government employees, pensioners and their dependents serving in Uttarakhand. For this, the State Health Authority has prepared data of employees and their dependents. The cards of the serving employees will be made from the departmental DDO (Drawing Disbursing Officer) and the pensioner's office from the treasury office. The Treasury Government has provided cashless treatment to three lakh employees and pensioners of the state for unlimited expenses under the Atal Ayushman Yojana.

This includes both IPD and OPD treatment. There will be no condition to refer employees and pensioners from government hospital for treatment. Employees and pensioners will be paid monthly contribution for treatment under the scheme. The State Health Authority has prepared the data for making golden cards of employees and pensioners. All together 15 lakh cards will be made. Under the scheme, the parents of the employee and pensioner, son-daughter, widow, divorced daughter of 25 years of age will also get the benefit of the scheme.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Director (Administration) of State Atal Ayushman Yojana, says that the data of all state employees, pensioners and their dependents is ready. Many employees have retired. The data is being updated online in the plan. The work of making golden cards of employees, pensioners and their dependents will be started.
