During the patrolling in Beria Daulat area of Udhamisingh Nagar in Uttarakhand, it cost dearly to police to advise youths who are roaming on the road without masks. This enraged the youth and one attacked the inspector with a shovel, in which the policeman narrowly escaped. The police team arrested one youth and four other youths fled from the spot.
On Saturday night, the Beria Daulat police chowki in-charge Prakash Chand along with the police and medical team were going to the village Beria Daulat, Kalyanpuri Marg to check people quarantined home on the basis of a complaint. On the road, some youths stood without masks Were. The outpost incharge drove them out of the house without any instruction on leaving without a mask. At this, a young man attacked the inspector with a shovel, in which the policeman narrowly survived.
It is alleged that the youth also abused. The police laid siege and arrested Gurusevak, a resident of Kalyanpuri village. There was a crowd of people getting the news. The police somehow pacified the case. Outpost incharge informed that a case has been registered against accused Gurusevak Singh and four others under sections 188, 269, 270 120, 186, 353, 504, 506 and 307.
