Dehradun: Former Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has made an absurd statement amid the corona epidemic. Trivendra Singh Rawat on Thursday said the corona virus is also a living organism that has the right to live. Trivendra Singh Rawat's statement is going viral on social media and people are criticizing him.

In fact, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat had said, 'From a philosophical point of view, corona virus is also a living organism, like the rest of the organisms it has the right to live, but we (humans) consider ourselves the most intelligent and ready to eliminate it, so it is constantly changing itself'. However, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that humans need to get ahead of the virus to stay safe. Former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has been slammed on social media for his statement. The country is currently reeling under another wave of corona and deaths are taking place in every part.

On the former CM's statement, Congress leader Gaurav Pandhi said that the statements of such people should not surprise us that our country is facing the highest human tragedy in the world today. 'This virus organism should be sheltered in central vista,' said a Twitter user, taking a dig at former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat's statement.
