British PM express solidarity extends helping hand after Uttarakhand glacier burst

London: After the glacier burst in Uttarakhand, there has been huge destruction. This disaster came last Sunday. In such a situation, now British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has shown solidarity with India. During the glacier bursting, the entire state was hit by the huge floods, during which he extended a helping hand. According to reports, 10 people have died in this disaster and a total of 170 people are still being reported missing. Now in the meantime, Johnson has said, 'After the floods in Uttarakhand, Britain is ready to help India in all possible ways.'


He has made his point through a tweet. In her tweet, Boris Johnson said, "My condolences are to the people of India and the rescuers of Uttarakhand who are facing the huge floods that followed the glacier eruption. Britain stands firmly with India in this hour of crisis and somehow Is ready to help." You all know that the glacier broke in the Tapovan-Raini area of Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on Sunday. Then there was a severe flood in Dhauliganga and Alaknanda Nandi. During this period the Rishiganga power project and surrounding houses suffered heavy damage.

After learning about the incident, several veteran leaders from across the world including French President Emmanuel Macron, Japan's Ambassador to India Santoshi Suzuki expressed their condolences to the people affected by the incident. Macron wrote in a tweet, "France stands completely with India after the glacier burst in Uttarakhand, with more than 100 people missing. Our condolences go out to her and her family."
