Interest-free loan disbursement of three lakhs for farmers starts in this state from today

Dehradun: Interest-free loan disbursement of three lakhs for Uttarakhand's donors started from Saturday. CM Trivendra Singh Rawat introduced the scheme from the Bannu School campus at Racecourse. Under the scheme, 25 thousand farmers were given loans for farming as well as for fisheries, herbs, poultry, silence, etc. The debt distribution ceremony was held simultaneously at 100 places across the state.

Registrar Cooperative Societies BM Mishra said that on February 6, interest-free loan disbursement of Rs 3 lakh was started under Deendayal Upadhyaya Cooperative Farmers Welfare Scheme. CM inaugurated the scheme. Loans were distributed to 25 thousand persons in 100 places on a single day, along with agriculture for agricultural implements, fisheries, herb production, poultry, silent farming.

In addition to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Cooperative Farmers Welfare Scheme, hardware for computerization was also distributed to 200 multi-purpose agricultural credit cooperatives of the state. An amount of about 40 crores was spent on computerization of cooperatives. In this, 25% of the money was given through the state government. The objective is to computerize all the cooperative societies of the state by March 2021. Uttarakhand is the first such state in the country. Where all multipurpose agricultural credit cooperatives of the state will be computerized.
