The government has also issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for migrant labourers stranded in Uttarakhand. With this, after which now the construction work of Lonivi can be used according to their ability. The government has instructed the department to do the mapping to bring the labours trapped in the relief camp of the state. During this period, precaution can be taken as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Buses used to bring them to the worksite will have to take care of social distance. Following this government directive, there is a possibility of relief to the trapped labourers in the state.

The police caught 23 workers hiding in the state on the border of Rudrapur. Along with this, the workers told that all were coming for employment in Uttarakhand. They had to come through the jungles after not getting a vehicle. Preparations are being made to send the workers back. On Tuesday, Kotwal along with KC Bhatt team went for routine checking at UP's Tallagadar border. During this time, they intercepted 23 workers secretly near Hemkund Seed Plant.

The workers declared their residence as Bareilly Sheeshgarh Uttar Pradesh. He said that he used to work as a labourer in different districts of Uttarakhand in the past, but all went back home before the lockdown. He was getting calls from Uttarakhand for many works including harvesting wheat. He was secretly coming to the state to escape from the police. Kotwal told that preparations are being made to send everyone back to UP.
