For this, the building and other construction workers board has written a letter to the district magistrates asking them to register the workers. With registration, they will also be sent one thousand rupees announced by the government. In the lockdown, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat had announced to send one thousand rupees to the accounts of all the registered labours, so that they can collect the necessary things for themselves in times of crisis.

The benefit of this announcement was given only to those labours, who are registered with the Workmen Welfare Board. More than 40 thousand such workers have been benefited in the district as well. Now neither registration nor renewal is being done due to lockdown. In such a situation, this benefit could not be given to the workers who had lost the registration validity. Now in lockdown, the government has again announced to deposit one thousand rupees in the account of registered workers. Workers Welfare Board has now issued new instructions so that maximum number of people can benefit from this scheme.
