Dehradun: The rain amid corona has added to the problems in Uttarakhand, while most parts of the state have been clear since Tuesday morning. The cold road in Nainital has again landslided on Tuesday. This has blocked the road here. The landslide has also created a crisis in the women's hostel at Kumaon Vivi. People are coming out of the debris of the landslide irrespective of their lives.

On the other hand, the highest rainfall in Jumma village of Dharchula on Sunday night caused havoc. Seven houses in Jamuni and Napoli Tok were razed due to heavy rains. Seven persons including three sisters and their uncles were buried in the debris. The bodies of the three sisters and two women have been seized while the uncles of the three sisters are missing. A search is on for both the missing persons. Four persons from Jumma village were injured in the incident.

At the same time, cloudburst inflated several districts of the state including Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Tehri this year, but except for two districts, the State has received less than normal rainfall. Only Bageshwar and Chamoli districts were the ones where it rained more than normal. Bageshwar received 15.4 percent more rainfall and Chamoli 54 percent more. The special thing was that the rainfall loss here was much less than that of other districts.
