In the Baitri district of Nepal bordering the Indian border, 9 people died in a bus accident on Thursday night. 34 people have been injured in accidents. The injured have been sent to hospital in Daldhura and Dhangadi for treatment. A night bus of windward traffic from Betri to Mahendranagar on Thursday night fell into a 100-meter trench near Khodpe market in Patan at 10 pm. Sentinel soldiers Ran Bahadur Chand, employee Kavindra Joshi, Karan Singh Ayer of Sittar village, Tarkraj Giri of Darchula, Jagannath Ojha, Vijna Dhami of Kanchanpur, Narendra Chaudhary of Dhanagri, Rishiram Chaudhary died in the accident.

15 years old Tika of Kanchanpur lost her life while going to Karki Hospital. 12 seriously injured in the accident were sent to Dhangadi and 22 to Dadeldhura Hospitals. Baitri Superintendent of Police Narayan Prasad Adhikari said that the accident may have caused more passengers or the driver to take a nap.

According to the information received, the investigation of the incident has been given to the research branch. The government has issued permission for night bus service in Nepal's hilly districts. In such an accident, relief and rescue work is very difficult.
