Children are not able to take advantage of online classes started to run smoothly between lockdowns due to network problems. Children are forced to move to better-networked areas for education. Sania Paladia of the area said that she is a Class 11 student at St. Theresa School in Kathgodam. She said that she has come to her house in Niglat after the school is closed in lockdown. The school has started online classes in the wake of Corona, but due to lack of network in Nigalat, studies are being disrupted. It is not possible to take online classes without a network on mobile phones and laptops.
More than 200 children of the area are affected by this problem. Forcing homework to go to the jungles of Bhawali or area four kilometers away from Nigalat, Sania said officials of the company concerned were asked to solve the network problem, but nothing happened. Students Kishore Mehra, Lakshita Dev, Ishika Dev, Partha Mehra also said that their online studies have come to a standstill due to lack of network. All have appealed to solve the problem of mobile network. Due to the closure of construction work in the lockdown, the number of passers in MDDA was extremely low. The result has been that now the backlog of maps has reduced drastically.
Work has also increased due to online software. At present, there is only 170 residential map pending in MDDA. While there are some who have objections. In MDDA, people had to travel for months to get a map. However, the time taken for the process of passing the map first by auto CAD and then online software has been reduced significantly. Now the map is being passed in three-four days if all the documents are correct and the construction is according to the building Boylage. Currently, maps in the residential category are passing in three to four days. Efforts are being made to reduce this time further. Pendency is being dealt for the convenience of the people so that people can get maps on time.
