Dehradun: BJP is busy removing its resentment ahead of the swearing-in of Pushkar Singh Dhami as the 11th Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. The meeting sat at the house of party state president Madan Kaushik for the past several hours. According to sources, state president Madan Kaushik, party state in-charge Dushyant Gautam and state general secretary Ajay are present in the meetings.

According to sources, an exercise is underway to persuade the angry leaders before Dhami is sworn in. The selection of Pushkar Singh Dhami, a younger man than senior leaders, is said to have angered many leaders. The party-state leadership has entrusted Pushkar Dhami with the responsibility of Uttarakhand. However, some senior leaders of the state BJP are also said to be angry after the party leadership's decision. Though Bishan Singh Chufal is refusing to express his displeasure, he is saying that the call of Harak Singh Rawat and Satpal Maharaj has been discussed with him. Whatever the subject, it will be discussed with the party-state leadership.

On the other hand, amidst inputs about Bishan Singh Chufal's displeasure, nominated CM Pushkar Dhami and BJP state in-charge Dushyant Gautam discussed the call with him. Senior BJP leader and MP Ajay Bhatt have categorically denied any resentment from party leaders. He says whatever decision the party leadership has taken is acceptable by all.
