Dehradun: In Kumaon, Uttarakhand, the rain is causing havoc. On Saturday late night, heavy rains in Munsiyari and Dharchula have also caused havoc. After the rain, four houses were severely damaged due to choribar and landslides. Thankfully no one was killed. However, during this time cattle of 4 families have been washed away due to the fast flow of water.

Where, in Balota village of Munsiyari, rain water and debris filled the public's houses. Due to which the houses of the public were also damaged and crops were also destroyed. Due to which the villagers had to spend the whole night on the road. Seeing such a form of rain, the villagers have been scared. The bridge of BRO built near the sickle on Munsiyari Jauljibi road was also badly damaged by rain water. A 5-year-old child also got washed away in water in Munsiyari's raid. The villagers saved the child's life from a lot of trouble.

The crisis is still increasing in many houses in Chhoribgarh of Tehsil Bangapani. TRC building is also in crisis. The erosion of the land is also happening continuously. On the other hand, due to continuous rains, the water level of Kali and Ghori river has also started increasing. Both rivers are flowing near the warning mark. Debris has accumulated in 147 roads, 89 still closed, 147 roads including three National Highways and 7 State Highways have been closed due to debris due to rain for the last two days across the country. Some roads have been damaged due to rain. Out of which 58 roads have been opened but 89 roads are still closed. According to Loniiv chief engineer Hariom Sharma, the departmental machinery is busy clearing Malwa from the roads. Along with the weather, most roads can be opened today. According to the State Disaster Operations Center, the Pali Ghats in Yamunotri Highway Uttarkashi have been closed due to landslides due to rain till Saturday, which is expected to be opened after 12 hours. In Champawat, Tanakpur Champawat road is being blocked near Swala and Kuthol.
