Dehradun: 'Anand One City Forest' is ready in Uttarakhand. This nature park is developed here in Jhajra Forest Range Complex. It will be opened to tourists on October 17, the first day of Navratri this year. This year the forest has been prepared to reduce the severe level of air pollution. This park will give detailed information about the fauna and flora of the state.

Ananda forest, prepared in three years from Rs 43 lakh, is spread over 50 hectares of land. Speaking to the media, Anand Forest's producer cum designer Sadhana Jayaraj has told that the urban jungle will provide a platform for people to experience the beauty of nature and come. Sadhana Jayaraj further said that in Anand Forest we have prepared bicycle and foot tracks.

He said that we have prepared nature and people can come here and feel its beauty. We have built a tree hut here with the help of a local carpenter. Apart from this, organic products have been used to maintain the glow in natural beauty. So we ask all people to come here and experience nature. Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that Anand Van has been built on the lines of the central government's concept of city forest.
