Kanpur: The country's first semi high speed train is playing with the health of passengers in Vande Bharat Express. The passengers were served with smelly and rotten rice in Kanpur on Sunday while going from Varanasi to Delhi. Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti also succumbed to it. The matter was reached by the Railway Minister, IRCTC general manager MP Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of investigation.

The special investigation team has reached Kanpur Central railway station today and has assured of action against the culprits if the complaint is found correct. Being a VVIP train, the passengers of Vande India are supplied food made at the Five star Hotel landmarks in Kanpur. When the train took off from Varanasi to Delhi on Sunday, the food was given.

Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti was also travelling in the train. Some passengers reached out to him about this stinking food and assured the passengers that the matter would be placed before the Railway minister. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has started an enquiry into the matter of serving stinky food. IRCTC GM MP Singh has reached Kanpur from Delhi.
