Lucknow: The Ghaziabad District and Sessions Court has sentenced terrorist Waliullah to death in the serial bomb blasts case in Varanasi, the city of Baba Vishwanath. Earlier on June 4, Ghaziabad District and Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha had a hearing in the court. The court found the serial blast accused Waliullah guilty. District Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha gave this decision.

Let us inform that on 7 March 2006, there was a serial blast at Sankatmochan Mandir and Cantt station in Varanasi. The verdict has come after 16 years in this case. 27 people were killed in these blasts, while more than 160 people were injured. Let us tell you that in this case only Waliullah was arrested. Earlier, on May 23, Varanasi blast case was heard in the court of District and Sessions Judge Jitendra Kumar Sinha. Before the commencement of the trial, the accused Waliullah was produced in the court under tight security.

In fact, on 7 March 2006, there were bomb blasts at Sankatmochan Temple and Railway Cantt in Varanasi. There was panic in the entire city after the blast. Along with this, a cooker bomb was recovered at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Many people were killed in this blast, while hundreds were injured. The matter was transferred to Ghaziabad for hearing on the orders of the High Court.
