Varanasi:  In view of the increasing cases of corona in Varanasi, negative reports of corona have also been made mandatory in the Sankatmochan temple after Kashi Vishwanath temple and Annapurna temple. It has been made mandatory to bring the RTPCR negative report three days in advance for darshan in Sankat Mochan.

Earlier, Varanasi Commissioner Deepak Aggarwal appealed to the common man to avoid coming to Varanasi for the time being in view of the growing corona infection. If there is no necessary work, people from the surrounding districts should not come to Varanasi and stay at their homes. Commissioner Deepak Aggarwal said that the RTPCR test of Corona should be negative for 3 days before the pilgrims visit the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurna Temple also. Otherwise, they will not be given entry into the temple premises. Expressing concern over the sharp increase in the number of corona patients in Varanasi, the commissioner has emphasized ensuring compliance with the covid protocol at all costs.

He has urged people not to come out of the house without wearing a face mask and make sure to follow social distancing at a distance of 2 yards. This is a great means of protection against corona.
