New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is on a visit to Baba Vishwanath's city Varanasi today. He launched the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor today. In the meantime, 55 high-definition (HD) cameras, four Jimmy Jibs and a large drone have been deployed for coverage of the entire program. A team of about 100 people, including 55 cameramans, are camping in Kashi for the telecast of the 'Divya Kashi, Grand Kashi' programme. PM Modi inaugurated the first phase of Kashi Vishwanath Dham built at a cost of around Rs 339 crore after the puja at the temple. Meanwhile, 151 Damru players greeted PM Modi by playing damru in baba vishwanath's dham.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, "Today, I also want to express my gratitude to every working brother and sister who is sweating it out in the construction of this grand complex. Even in the difficult period of corona, they did not allow work to stop here. I have just had the privilege of meeting these working colleagues and seeking their blessings. Kashi is Kashi! Kashi is so imperishable. There is only one government in Kashi, which has damru in their hands, their government. Who can stop Kashi where the Ganga flows by changing its current?'
In his address, he said, "This entire new complex of Vishwanath Dham is not only a grand building, but it is a symbol of the eternal culture of our India! This is the symbol of our spiritual soul! This is a symbol of India's antiquity, traditions! Of India's energy, of mobility. PM Modi said that when you come here, you will not just show faith. You will also feel the pride of your past here. Today we are witnessing how antiquity and innovation are coming together, how the inspirations of the ancient are guiding the future, at the Vishwanath Dham complex today.
