Hyderabad: Revolutionary writer and poet leader Varvara Rao (80), who was arrested and lodged in Taloja jail in the case of Elgar Parishad-Maoist relations, tested positive for coronavirus. Yes, according to the news received, JJ Hospital has confirmed the existence of Varvara Rao. At the same time, doctors say that due to corona infection, his health is constantly deteriorating. At the same time, prison officials had Varavara Rao admitted to JJ Hospital on Tuesday. His corona test was done there and the report came positive. Since then, his health is not improving. Let us tell you that Varvara Rao has been lodged in Taloja Jail for the last two years. JJ Hospital Dean Dr Ranjit Mankeshwar told the media that 'Varvara was admitted to the Neurology Department after being brought to the hospital on Monday night.

Let us also tell you that Varvara Rao and nine other activists were arrested in the Elgar Parishad-Maoist contact case. At the beginning of this case, the Pune Police started the investigation but after that the task of investigation was given to the National Investigation Agency. This case is dated 31 December 2017.
