Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan both are busy for their upcoming movie titled Sui-Dhaaga. The duo are currently in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh and if reports are to be believed then Varun met with an accident on the sets, the actor insisted on shooting for a fight sequence himself, without using a body double, and ended up injuring himself.
According to a source, Varun was shooting for a sequence in which his character, Mauji, gets involved in a street brawl. In one part of the scene, he had to roll down a flight of stairs. Although director Sharat Katariya tried to dissuade Varun, he was determined to not take the help of a body double.
The shoot was immediately halted, and Varun was treated for his injuries. The actor has now recovered from injuries. He took to his Instagram story and shared a picture of himself resting on bed followed by another picture which read, ‘’I’m totally good.’’
Sui Dhaaga is the first time that Varun Dhawan will be seen with Anushka Sharma. Set in small-town India, the film will have Varun playing a tailor, while Anushka will play an embroiderer. I think fans are now more excited to see the duo for the first time ever.
