Varun Dhawan on Children's Day, spent time with those lovely kids who are living without the actual love of their parents and now Varun who loves kids become a part of an event and charity his favourite golden jacket from his wardrobe to a fundraiser hosted by StyleCracker, an NGO.
Varun says its a sentimental value attached to, “I am very uncomfortable talking about charity. Sharing things is one of the first things my parents taught me. Besides,I think it’s a very great initiative. This jacket holds sentimental value for me because Dishoom is a film Rohit made for children. I would love to meet the person who gets it. I think that Archana from StyleCracker will set it up.”
Archana Walavalkar, the Co-Founder and Creative Director of StyleCracker, “Varun and I started our careers with Student Of The Year and he is very dear friend. I designed Varun, Sidharth and Alia’s outfits for the promotions so it has been a long-term work relationship. He has always been pushing me to do and try things. When I told him about this initiative he was extremely supportive. When I asked him for that one iconic piece, I didn’t have this jacket in mind. Varun told me that though he loved this jacket (designed by me) and has worn it a lot, he donate it for the auction. Varun has been the driving force and our first choice as we kick off the auction.”
