Director Ram Gopal Varma is back again with his one more real life theme. The movie is Hindi remake of Kannada film 'Killing Veerappan',. For Hindi audience it is titled as 'Veerappan'.
Producer of the movie is BV Manjunath, the film is basically about Veerappan, one of India's most notorious sandalwood smugglers, who killed 97 policemen, 184 civilians and 900 elephants at his two decade time spent in jungle. It took police almost 20 years to kill him and the recently released trailer is a demonstration to the way in which Veerappan had able to chase to police for a long period.
Starting of this month, the film's unit planning to release a new motion poster of the biopic. Veerappan is played by actor Sandeep Bharadwaj who poyatred the same role in kannda version also.
excitingly, the film is said to be released on May 27, which face with Varma's arch nemesis and director Anurag Kashyap's 'Raman Raghav'
