Amid the nationwide lockdown and the Corona crisis, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu said that apart from the Emergency, there has never been an occasion in my life when I had to spend so long in one place. He said that he is using the time he got due to the lockdown very well.
In his statement further on Saturday, he said in a Facebook post that he is reading good books these days. Sharing thoughts with his loved ones. Naidu said, 'Everything has its origin in the brain. In the face of any challenge, we have to prepare and train our brain to accept and resolve that untoward. If we understand this fact then we can gladly accept and imbibe any change.' The Vice President recalled the Emergency, saying, 'For the first time since the Emergency, he has been staying in one place for so long and is using the time by doing constructive work. Since the days of my student life, there has never been such an opportunity that I had to spend so long in one place. Except in emergency, living in such a bond is neither in my nature nor in my instinct. '
In his statement further, he said, 'This is a new experience for me too and I am using this new situation to the fullest. I am training my mind to accept its uncertainty in a senseless way.' The Vice President said, "My routine has changed after the lockdown. I never spent a week in my house after marriage. After my marriage in 1970, I am spending a lot of time with my wife. During this time I also spoke to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, HD Deve Gowda and leaders like LK Advani, Murali Manohar Joshi, AK Antony, Ahmed Patel and Motilal Vora."
