Film, Uri: The Surgical Strike is based on Indian Army's 2016 surgical strike on terrorist camps in Pakistan in retaliation to the terror attack on an army camp in Uri in Jammu and Kashmir. Besides Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam The film also stars Kirti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal, Rajit Kapoor, Mohit Raina and Manasi Parekh in key roles. Uri marks the directorial debut of Aditya Dhar and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP.
