MUMBAI: Vicky Kaushal. the Bollywood actor, has had a great time shooting for 'Sam Bahadur', so far. A few days ago, the actor was seen playing cricket after an early pack-up on the film's set. The first schedule of the film is now over.
The actor told his Instagram followers about his new schedule on Instagram. Vicky Kaushal wrote in an emotional post that the filming schedule was over after two months and five cities.
He wrote, "After more than two months of hard work in five cities... it's a SCHEDULE WRAPPP for the SAM BAHADUR!!! Few more cities and a few more months to go. See you soon Team, to continue our journey of making #SAM BAHADUR!!! @meghnagulzar @rsvpmovies (sic)".
Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP Movies made the movie, and filming began in August. The film's director, Meghana Gulzar, also posted the call sheet for day 40 of "Sam Bahadur" on her Instagram story, with the caption "Day #40, let's do it."
Sam Manekshaw was India's greatest war hero and first Field Marshal. His story is told in the book "Sam Bahadur." Sam Manekshaw served in the Army for more than 40 years and in five wars. He was the first Indian Army officer to be given the rank of Field Marshal, and his military victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war led to the creation of Bangladesh.
Vicky plays the main character in the movie. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh also have roles in the movie. The movie "SamBahadur" is set to come out in 2023.
