Kolkata: A woman today threw a slipper at Partha Chatterjee, an accused in the West Bengal Teachers' Recruitment Scam, and said that these leaders are looting public money. Let me tell you that, Partha was brought to ESI Hospital for a checkup. During this time, the woman threw slippers at Partha and hit him. At the same time, Bengal BJP unit president Sukanto Majumdar said, "We do not support it, but the way there is resentment among the people against him, it will not be surprising if people throw slippers on their leaders in the streets in the coming days."

Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials probing the multi-crore teacher recruitment scam on Tuesday raided two more flats and a shop linked to Arpita Mukherjee, a close aide of suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Partha Chatterjee. Sources in the agency said that ed officials raided two flats in south Kolkata. One of these flats is located on Panditia Road and the other at Madurdaha. Along with this, a nail art shop located in the northern part of the city was also raided.

At the same time, it has been reported that the arrested minister Partha Chatterjee is not cooperating with the ED in the interrogation. An ED official said on Monday that Chatterjee has not answered most of the ED's questions regarding the SSC scam probe. According to the ED official, Parth, the leader who was suspended from the TMC, remained silent most of the time during the interrogation.
