Bhopal: The corona epidemic, as well as heavy rains, have created a stir in the country. In Madhya Pradesh, the army has been called in to get rid of heavy rains and floods. About 1,171 villages have been affected in cities like Shivpuri, Sheopur, Datia, Gwalior, Bhind, and Rewa. A total of 200 villages are surrounded by water. Teams of SDERF, NDERF have evacuated about 1,600 persons. Five Air Force helicopters had taken off from Gwalior on Tuesday morning but could not land for rescue due to bad weather earlier.

Three persons were stuck on a tree in Bechi village of Shivpuri on Monday who has been evacuated safely. Earlier, 12,500 cusecs of water were being released before Madikheda dam, now 10,500 cusecs have increased. The villagers who are suffering from the release of water from the dam have been alerted. The Sindh river took a rough shape as the water was released from the dam.

The same launch bridge near Goraghat and the Mata Temple at Ratangarh were washed away in the strong waters of the Sindh river. The launch bridge on the Sindh river and the Ratangarh Mata Mandir was built ten years ago. In 2013, 115 devotees were killed in a stampede on the same bridge. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged the people of the affected villages to be vigilant. We are worried about you. Instructions have been issued to make arrangements for relief camps and food.
