New Delhi: Soon the BJP will go alone in the Delhi Assembly Elections-2020 or with its old ally Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD Badal), no specific decision has been made about this, where many leaders of Delhi, especially the Sikh Akalis are in alliance. It could not do it in favor.

According to sources, on Wednesday i.e. January 15, 2020, a meeting of Akali leaders with the central leadership of the BJP is expected. In Punjab as well as Delhi, both parties have been fighting elections together. In the Delhi Assembly elections, SAD Badal used to get 4 seats, but this time the party is claiming 6 to 7 seats. On the other hand, many leaders, including the Delhi Sikh Cell, are in favor of going to the elections without taking the Akali along. Even in the state election committee meeting, some leaders opposed the alliance. On several issues, open differences between BJP and Akali leaders have also come to light in Delhi. Akalis also opposed the program of Sikh Sangat in Delhi about 2 years ago. It is also being said that along with this, Akali leaders had opened a front accusing the former BJP government of Maharashtra of interfering in the management of the gurdwara.

Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (DSGPC) President Manjinder Singh Sirsa and BJP National Minister RP Singh have also made statements against each other. In Haryana too, there could not be an alliance of the 2 parties. But the Akali elections were fought against the BJP in association with the Indian National Lok Dal. In the election campaign, he also attacked the BJP sharply. The opinion of Akali leaders is also different from the BJP regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act. Due to these reasons, there is confusion about the alliance in Delhi.
