Ranveer’s latest photoshoot gave birth to a Debate. On the one hand, his friends from Bollywood and Fans are hailing him. Several people also criticizing and trolling him. Now one of the most vocal actresses of  Bollywood Vidhya Balan has expressed her view on Ranveer Nude Photoshoot and criticism.

An FIR was filed against Ranveer by the founder of an NGO, who said he was worried the actor may influence the country’s youth as well as offend women. Another FIR was filed by a lawyer against the actor in Mumbai after a complaint stated he had “hurt sentiments of women”.

Various celebrities from Bollywood have come in support of   Ranveer. Vidhya Balan in her latest interview also defended the actor. In response to Ranveer Singh’s question related to the latest controversy at the launch of ‘Open Book’, a book related to the memoirs of actress Kubbra Sait ( the sacred game actor)in Mumbai asked what has he done wrong.

At the launch of Kubbra Sait’s book, Vidya Balan, when asked to ask her opinion on the controversy surrounding Ranveer Singh’s nude photoshoot, smiled and said in a very light-hearted manner and said, Are Kya problem he pehli bar koi aadmi aesa kar rahe hum logo bhi kabhi kabhi aakhe sekne dijiye. ( What is the problem, first time a man is doing this let us also have a look)

Arjun Kapoor earlier also supported the actor and said, “I don’t think Ranveer Singh ever does anything that is externally imposed on him. He never makes any pretense. You have been seeing him 10-12 times for years. Wherever he goes, the atmosphere is filled with fun, warmth, and energy, which is a part of his personality. It is his choice to do nude photoshoots… They have social media… if they feel right about how they are supposed to behave at the moment, if they feel comfortable celebrating it, then we should respect them.”
