Vidya Balan wins millions of hearts with her amazing voice and looks. With many blockbuster hits from Parineeta to Tumahari Sulu she has proved her ability to do acting. Vidya Balan was last seen in 'Tumhari Sulu' which was a women-oriented movie. In an interaction with a leading daily, the actor said that she enjoys when a director narrates a story. That helps her to understand the story better.

The Tumhari Sulu actor further continued that I really enjoy the process of narrations. If a director narrates the story to me, I am more than happy, because you get a sense of how the director is seeing the film and whether you (actor) see the film in the same way. So I like to take my time to actually know. It helps you absorb the pitch better. Sometimes someone narrates so beautifully that you are blown away by the narration itself rather than the story.

Meanwhile, post the success of Tumhari Sulu, Vidya Balan has signed a biopic on former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. The movie will be a screen adaptation of journalist Sagarika Ghose's book Indira: India's Most Powerful Prime Minister.

Talking about her upcoming projects a source stated to the tabloid she said that Set in the murky world of crime, the drama sees the leading lady as a grey character. The role is that of a strong-minded woman who is almost a crime overlord. After Jyoti finished penning the script, Vidya was the first name that came to her mind. Given the kind of author-backed roles that she has done, the actress would be a perfect fit for the character.
